Just About Myself

Hye and a very Good morning to all of you, as stated in my identity card, my full name is Ellienza Anne anak Dimbap, holding a matric number A1100803. People around me can just call me “ANNE” as I know it is hard to pronouns my first name. I was born in 19 March 1993 in Hospital Bandar Saratok.. I am the youngest daughter in my family and I have only one elder sister. I am Iban but sorry to say that I don’t know much Iban culture compare to chinese lifestyle. I grow up in my mother hometown which name Roban with my grandparents who are chinese and this makes I know more about chinese culture.

 I spent  most of my childhood and teenage life time there  except between the ages of 16 till now, when I enter MRSM Betong in February 2010. From young, I was taught to speak in 4 main language which are Iban, Hokkien, English and Bahasa Malaysia.  I was send to kindagarden  and  school since I was  5 years old. There, I learn few more languages which are Mandarine Chinese, Bahasa Melayu Sarawak, Cantonese. Finally till now, it make me able to speak in 7 different  languages.

 I love to eat Laksa Sarawak. I really enjoy it although it is sometimes really spicy. My favourite drink is orange juice. During my leisure time, I like to read novels and listen to music. My favourite English books are “Gifted”.  The books comes in nine series which talk about 9 teenagers with different gift.  The author, Marilyn Kaye  inspire me through her writing, each of the book come with their own message. She talks about how the 9 teenagers handle their gift so that they can make it beneficial to everyone. From the message of the book, I learn that I need to use my talent wisely so that I can help myself and people around me. About music, I enjoy to listen to music and songs that make me feel calm and happy. Besides indoor activities, I enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling ,playing netball and basketball. Other than that, I had join Taekwondo and my training partner is here too,  Philip Owen.

I am a person who is positive about certain aspect of life.  I always think that everything happen in my life with its reason why. This makes me sometimes do not question so much whatever happen around me.  For example entering UNIMAS was not my first choice but after sometimes of thinking, I finally chose to enter UNIMAS,  and it is my own will. My family are supporting  me too. And now, I am really happy here to be with you all. My ambition is to mechatronic engineer, I hope I can achieve my ambition here with this very good new beginning in Pre-University.
